Author's Note: Anyone who has ever been to a concert has experienced the excitement of the crowd, the melodies played throughout the entire venue. Some concerts have a few acts with a headlining star, maybe a free different bands, or even a intermingled performance, such as the two night event iHeartRadio Festival; that's what I love about that major memory of a life time.
Music blasted loudly in my ears. People jumped and clapped to the beat of the stereo. I heard screaming from the women standing behind me. As if the MGM stadium itself was alive, it went berserk and growing more frantic by the second. Everyone seemed to get caught up in a untamed dance of frivolity and deafening shouts. The iHeart Radio Music Festival was filled with zealous energy that brought together many multifarious music genres.
When we had arrived, I immediately looked at the Friday night lineup on my dad's phone. It read No Doubt, Miranda Lambert, Usher, Green Day and so many more performers. It was awesome to see that there were acts that are of Country, Pop, Alternative Rock and Progressive House. I told my dad in the hotel room,"I'm so excited. Omigosh, Rhianna!" Then we walked to the MGM stadium and took our seats waiting for the show to begin.
Gwen Stefani abruptly appeared in the midst of the crowd belting out to No Doubt's new single. After them, the highlights included Lil Wayne, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean and Rhianna. The second night's best were P!nk, Taylor Swift, Aerosmith and Pitbull. Both nights overall were phenomenal. Seeing all of the dissimilar music in two nights was amazing, from Country to Pop to Alternative Rock.
The festival is a mirror image of the American society in the fact that the nights, too, incorporate many different people from around the world. A group of girls flew all the way in from Australia just to come here, and others came from England! When people immigrated from around the world, it brought them together, all aspiring to have a new life; while iHeartRadio, brought people around the globe for music.
The prodigious concert brings together music genre's best and puts them all on one stage. That's the best part about it, you get to enjoy all of these music artists on two nights who come together and aggregate the cultures of diverse music from around the country and even some from Europe. Music is one of the many things people have in common; the fact I was apart of the utmost music concert in the world, it was legendary.
Music ties the world together. When I was at the festival, it was one of the best experiences of my life. When the crowd and I were dancing to the beat it was like all of this vibrant, miscellaneous music; it felt like the whole stadium became one person with our hearts beating as one.The iHeartRadio Music Festival had brought everyone, the crowd, me, my dad, the music artists together through the power of music.
